These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the BeSmart.fi website (the “Website”) and the services provided by Kavadi Smart School (Kavadi Oy) (“we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing or using our Website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of Personal Data

3. Placing an Order

3.1 How to Order

Services and virtual products (downloadable files or access to video content) can be selected via the Website by adding items to the “cart” and completing payment. Orders are considered confirmed upon payment through the Website’s checkout system.

3.2 Order Confirmation

If an email address is provided, an order confirmation will be sent, detailing the purchased services and their costs.

3.3 Event Participation

For events, lectures, seminars, or webinars, reservations can also be made for another person (e.g., an employee or colleague).

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Processor

Payments are securely processed through Visma Pay (Visma Payments Oy, Business ID: 2486559-4), which is registered with the Financial Supervisory Authority in Finland. You will be redirected to Visma Pay during checkout, and payments will be listed as Visma Pay or Visma Payments Oy in your account statement. Payments are processed securely over encrypted connections.

4.2 Payment Methods

Available payment methods include:

  • Internet banking (Osuuspankki, Nordea, Danske Bank, etc.)
  • Payment cards (Visa, Mastercard, Debit/Credit)
  • Mobile wallets (MobilePay, Pivo)
  • Invoices and installment options (Jousto, OP Lasku).

5. Delivery

5.1 Description of Services

The Website is an online store offering educational courses and webinars. When a purchase is made, we contact the customer within two (2) business days to confirm and clarify the order details.

  • Digital Products: Videos (webinars) or PDF files are available for immediate download upon payment confirmation.
  • Price Requests: If a customer submits a price request, it should include detailed information. We will contact the customer within two (2) business days to clarify details and provide a tailored offer. Submitting a price request does not obligate the customer to make a purchase.
  • Partner Courses: If a customer wishes to purchase a course offered by our partners, they will be redirected to the partner’s website to complete the transaction. We are not responsible for the partner’s activities or services and only provide information about the course.

5.2 Payment and Invoicing

Payments are processed securely through Visma Pay, or for custom-priced courses, payments can be made via an invoice. For invoiced payments, the service will commence upon receipt of payment, unless otherwise agreed.

5.3 Event Participation

Registration is mandatory for events, and participation can be rescheduled to another available date or event. Requests to reschedule must be submitted via email at least two days before the original date.

5.5 Reports

Reports related to purchased services are sent to the email address provided at the time of order. Clients are responsible for reviewing and notifying us of any errors within 14 days.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

6.1 Service Cancellation

Orders for services can be canceled prior to fulfillment by written notice via email. For virtual products, cancellations are not permitted once the product is delivered.

6.2 Refunds and Exchanges

  • Refunds are available for unfulfilled services.
  • Services may be exchanged for other available options before fulfillment, with payment adjustments for price differences.
  • Refunds or exchanges for virtual products are not available.

7. Liability and Complaints

7.1 Service Quality

We are responsible for rectifying any deficiencies in the quality of our services as required by law. For complaints, please contact us at info@besmart.fi.

7.2 Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes, consumers may contact the Finnish Consumer Advisory Services for assistance.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and pricing. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes will be resolved in Finnish courts.
